It is the newest creation of the Malaysian Genting Group which invested some $230m in order to built the multifunction complex designed to look like a luxury cruise ship. It’s note a first try for the company. In fact, it owns already many gigantic complex around the world : New York, Manille, Singapour, Kuala Lampur, in Bahamas and soon in Las Vegas … no less !

With seven floors and able to accommodate up to 12,000 people, the Resorts World Birmingham is composed of a four-star hotel (Genting Hotel), an international class casino, a shopping mall and a theater. It is the first in the area of Birmingham and it will be United Kingdom's first casino resort.

The Hotel will offer 178 modern rooms and suites -booking will begin on November 2nd- and an Asian-themed spa. There will also be a large variety of bars and restaurants with themes featuring world cultures: World Bar, Glam Sky Bar, Champagne Lounge.

Open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, it will offer lots of slot machines, regular and electronic table games as well as a huge poker room. An outdoor smoking terrace will also be available for the most stressed people out there.

The building's particularity is based on the 50 outlets it will house such as Nike Factory or Next, a novelty in the area.

Finally, on the occasion of the inauguration night, on Friday 23rd, the newest James Bond movie Spectre will be projected in the theater of the hotel.

This casino could rapidly become the international players' first destination leisure.
