Goa is a region located on the west coast of India, on the shores of the Arabian Sea. Former Portuguese colony from 1510 to 1961, it has kept some colonial monuments and places like the Old City of Panaji, Basilica of Bon Jésus, Fort Reis Magos or the tomb of St Francis Xavier.

Most of all, Goa is known as an attractive touristic center. Indeed, it provides wonderful beaches and climate. The most popular are Agenda Beach, Palolem Beach, Mamdrem Beach or Varca Beach. Many luxurious resorts and hotels are available all year long to enjoy the advantages of Goa. At night, tourists can celebrate their vacations in the clubs located close to the beach.

For many decades, India is a country that fascinates the world thanks to its culture, architecture heritage, history, landscapes and culinary specialties. Thousands of tourists coming from all over the world visit the country each year.

The main cities are the capital New Dehli, Bombay, Jaipur, Chennai, Calcutta or Agra.

The Taj Mahal, located in the city of Agra, is the most popular as well as the most known touristic attraction. It was built between 1631 and 1641 under the reign of Moghol Imperator Chah Djaban for its favorite spouse Mumtaz Mahall. Located in a sumptuous garden, this monument is made in white marble encrusted in colored stones.

The Golden Temple of Amristar, the Red Fortress of Agra or the Guruda Sahib and the Swaminaravan Akshardham of New Dehliare are other architectural marvels that must be seen during a stay in India. The Red Fortress of Agra is the second most popular monument of the city. It was built between 1565 and 1574 and it is listed as UNESCO World Heritage site since 1983. 2,5 kilometers long, it contains a wide number of enchanted palaces as Jahangir and Khas Mahal as well as the room of Diwan-i-Khas and two wonderful mosques.

The Golden Temple of Amristar is located in the northwest of India in the region of Pendjab. Also called Harmandir Sahib (“Famed temple of god”) its construction began in 1601 thanks to Gurû Arjan, a Sikh spiritual master. It is located inside a small sacred lake and made with golden leaf.

Well known for the quality and the variety of its teas, a visit of the tea fields of Munnar is an impressive show. Real gardens, they extend beyond horizon. Those tea plantations are visited by thousands of tourists all year long, coming to admire the greeneries that were discovered the first time in 1857 by a British resident named John Daniel Munro. Nowadays, a museum located at Kannan Devan Hill Plantation tells about the captivating story of the Indian tea.

The Indian natural landscapes are exceptional. Places as the Kanchenjunga Mountains of Darjeeling, the Agonda Beach or the Ellora Caves have to be discovered. As an example, the Kanchenjunga Mountains are located at the border of Nepal and India and are considered as the third highest mountain in the whole world. The most adventurous will try to hike at its feet when other will admire the mountain from Darjeeling.

Of course, the culinary specialties of the country are well known around the world.
