The metropolitan county of Merseyside is located in North West England, along the banks of the Mersey Estuary. Liverpool is the economic, touristic and politic center of the county. The Liverpool Urban Area is the fifth most populous conurbation of the country. The population of Merseyside is estimated at nearly 1,4 million.
We count five gaming establishments within the county of Mereyside. Three of them are located in Liverpool : the Genting Club Queen Square Casino, the Genting Renshaw Casino and the Grosvenor Casino Leo. The other gaming venues are the Genting Casino Wirral and the Genting Club Casino of Southport. Modern slot machines, a wide range of electronic terminals, gaming tables such as Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, Craps or casino War as well as beautiful Poker Rooms are what to expect within those attractive establishments.
In terms of tourism, Liverpool is the number one destination. Located on the East bank of the Mersey Estuary, just three miles form the sea, the city is known thanks to the Beatles and the Liverpool Football Club. However, there are also many other things to see within its boundaries.
The birthplace of the Beatles gives the pride of place to this mythical music band. Several guided trous bring the visitors from Penny Lane, the Cavern Club to the Strawberry Fields. It is also possible to visit the former homes of Paul McCartney and John Lennon, respectively at the 20 Forthling Road and the 251 Menlove Avenue.
The Albert Dock is an impressive five-story-high block of Victorian structures surrounding a beautiful historic harbor. Nowadays, theses structures are decoratively restored warehouses featuring luxury apartments, boutiques, restaurants, café and museums. Victor can also enter at the Beatles Story Museum, International Slavery Museum or the Border Force National Museum.
The Pier head is a captivating place home to the Port of Liverpool Building, the Card Building and the royal Liver Building. Tourists will also explore the Titanic Memorial, the queen Victoria Monument and the Georgian Town Hall. Spending a day here shouldn’t be an option for very travelers and especially for the ones who love culture and history;
In terms of museums and cultural places, Liverpool provides many options such as the Walker Art Gallery, St George’s Hall, the Merseyside Maritime Museum, Museum of Liverpool, the National Waterways Museum and the TATE Museum.
