I've been a patron since the week they opened, but no longer. Ever since they managed to bribe enough Kentucky legislators to make their "historic horse racing" scam legal, the machines have gotten tighter and tighter, bonuses pay out about a third of what they used to, "glitches" are happening more and more often and they have begun cheating on their point multiplier days. The place is filthy, unsanitary, understaffed, and the same names are "randomly" pulled nearly every month at their drawings. The only ones cashing anything out of significance are the drug dealers, pimps and prostitutes frequenting the place, which I'm pretty sure Churchill Downs has their fingers in THAT till now, too, since they opened their new hotel. Very disappointed as a long time player. It used to be fun and you at least got about $5 in play for every dollar you lost, letting you at least earn a little free play, seeing that Derby City only offers perks to the highest level players.
